The Censorship of Happiness

"You shouldn't never regret something that made you smile."

~ Bei Maejor

Like in "How The Grinch Who Stole Christmas," The Who's in Whoville still celebrated any way.

A black cloud hovered over me recently, threatening to steal my serenity, take away my peace, throw away my calm.

Even though I cried for hours that afternoon and into the night, I remained calm.

I went to bed early, clasped my hands together, and prayed all night.

And in the morning, the happiness remained.

My feelings could not be censored.

I was still here.  I was still me.

And life was still precious and good.
